Thank you for visiting today! Check out what we've been doing this week. Although we had lots of fun activities this week, we also had some great learning times.
Phonics/Grammar: We wrote our new list of words with the thr/squ/shr. We will have our test next week. With our busy schedule, time for spelling was very sparse this week!
Reading: We read several chapters in Horns and Wrinkles. We worked individually with a teacher to complete a reading assessment.
Writing: We researched our moths and butterflies, then began our comparing/contrasting story.
Math: We took our final assessment on problem solving. We finished up our unit on multiplication, learning about sets, arrays, and repeated addition as strategies for solving.
Class News and Reminders...
Thank you to all the parents who helped at Market Day! It was a huge success.
Thank you to Mr. Kale, Mr. Black, Mrs. Clark, Mrs. Akery, Mrs. DeFoor, Mrs. Martin, Mrs. Barfield and Mrs. Pratt for coming and hanging out with us at field day! Mr. Kale and Mr. Black took over and were in charge of the games and the kids had a blast!
Congratulations to David Donea for being chosen as this week's Celebrity! He not only exhibited excellent choices, but he was also VERY patient for waiting for so long!
